Golden Leaf Apartments is the perfect home for persons 55 and older who prefer small town living at an affordable price.  This renovated school offers one and two-bedroom apartments loaded with amenities. This property has several spacious floor plans to choose from, including loft style apartments, all with historic features such as large windows and antique hardwood floors. Lease Terms
This property offers a six or twelve month lease. One resident must be 55 years or older and all household members must be 45 years or older. Applications are taken by appointment or walk-in and require a $25 application fee.
Pet Policy
Residents are allowed one pet under 25lbs, a $200 pet fee and records are required. Service animals do not require fee. No exotic pets are allowed.

Golden Leaf Event Center (Charles L. Coon School Auditorium)

Add instant character and sophistication to your event by hosting it at Golden Leaf Event Center. GLEC is located in the original auditorium of Charles Coon School circa 1929.  This space is a unique choice to host any event in Wilson County.  The lower level has the original stage and open floor plan with hardwood floors which allows for virtually any seating or table configuration to host banquets, receptions, or a buffet styled event.  There is a kitchen that overlooks the 1st floor also included in the rental fee. 

Original balcony seating can be found on the second level of the event space along with large original windows with city views that would serve as a great backdrop to engagement, bridal, or family photos.  In fact because original features remain, most of this space lends itself to capturing that special moment or memory with a photo.

If you are planning a smaller gathering like a baby shower, bridal shower, or book club meeting we also have additional spaces available for rental.  

Occupancy maximum is 167.
